Is James Direct?

What do you think about people that are direct? Are you direct? Do you tend to beat around the bush when you have something to say or do you just jump in with both feet and say what needs to be said? I think James is direct!

Is he different than Jesus? Does he have the same message? Does he get the message across? Are you getting the message?

I hope you are enjoying this study as much as I am enjoying it! Can't wait to see you tomorrow night!

  2. Well I am loving this study of James as well! James is direct but done in a loving way.

I don't think he is different than Jesus, Jesus sermon on the mount comes through loud and clear.

The study is heart searching and definitely thought provoking! The longer I get into God's word the more I hunger for it!

  3. Not sure there is much else to say, but God always blesses me when I get into His Word! And it is always amazing when He works the same verses from our Bible studies into other studies, like small group and Pastor Cliff's sermons!
Have a great week in James, ladies!

  4. Is JAMES Direct?... Is the pope Catholic?... Is it a day that ends in “Y”? YES! James is very direct. That is what I like about him.
I have 3 very close friends here on earth. Only one of them has similar view points on any given issue with me. The other 2, I can generally tell you how they too will feel about any given subject – probably the opposite of me. But yet, they each have a common trait, just the same as why I like James so much. They say what they mean, they mean what they say. They are not saying things to impress (or not impress) people… but each one can back up what they believe or their viewpoint when they speak, regardless of whether or not I agree with them. This is a trait that I admire.
Is James different than Jesus? Both spoke the truth, but Jesus was much more polished than James. Different too though, Jesus spoke in parables many times. James kind of hits you with a more direct punch.
Enjoying this study, probably my favorite study, but it really has hit me right between the eyes. It really has made me think about my big eye logs.
